The Empire of TurboKill is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Wussles with a fair hand, and remarkable for its happy-go-lucky citizens. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.769 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Teidan. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 50%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

'The Anti-Government Hour' is a popular programme on many of TurboKill's radio stations, TurboKill is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, island residents must resort to canoes and sailboats to get to work, and the airship business has been driven out of the country by strict regulations and high fines. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. TurboKill's national animal is the panda, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the yuao.
